When I was 4 years old, I submitted a Ninja Turtles themed piece to a group installation art show and I got to go to the gallery opening in San Francisco and everything. (It was a big hit.) I didn't realize it then, but that was pretty much me making a statement of artistic intent that I've stayed true to ever since.
